Hi!

To this mailing list we only accept full repeatable bug reports as
defined in the MySQL manual. Please use mysql@lists.mysql.com in the
future for not repeatable bugs. The reason for this policy is that
all bugs posted on this list that satisfy this lists requirements,
will be fixed or properly documented in the next MySQL release by us
at MySQL AB.

Please repost with mysqlbug script + a full example of your problem,
including a full test that also shows any possible error messages.

We need more information about your MySQL version and OS to be able to
help you.

You can find information how to do a correct bug report at:

Kevin> Thank you for your time,

Have you read the manual entry 'Problems Starting the MySQL Server' ?

This manual entry contain information of how to find out what's going
wrong. In general, the /usr/local/mysql/var/'hostname'.err file
contains the reason for why things didn't work.

Regards,
Monty
