I was playing with the SQL/MySQL today, and found some variances in the
implementation of certain date functions (I'm sure there are others). 

I'm working through stored procedure issues with an NT developer to try
and sort some things out, but the NTSQL thingy has some stark variances
with the formatting of date_add, date_sub functions, etc.  For instance,
it calls date_add dateadd with a differing ordering of parameters, and
the interval isn't really supported.  I'm sure there's a fix, but, the
interoperability would definitely be a bonus for both.

I was able to replicate his database in a matter of about 15 minutes,
and, with some minor tweaks, implement his update queries with identical
results to his server.  Was very rewarding.

BTW, as an aside, he had to leave the site we were testing IIS/SQL 6.5
because his Dbase server died during testing.  Just a thought.  My
several servers are fine.  >:)
