Subject:    mysql: ODBC fails after upgrade

Hello,

After upgrading from mySQL version 3.20.17b to 3.20.30b (Linux),
ODBC Access (From WIN NT/95 platforms) started to fail with
the message "Can't connect to mysql server".

Checked mysql host, user, and db tables (with mysqlaccess), and the DNS.

The problem disapeared when I switched back to the old version
(ran make install from old directory).

Any thoughts would be appreciated...
