no, the lsof list are incoming connections with
a high port on the other host, to nearly each
one ever connected from rsyslog multiple times

strange thing, this are only maillogs from rsyslog
the other machine logging all no-mail messages
the same way does not show this behavior

mysqld      905 29083    mysql  180u     IPv4             357605        0t0        TCP
10.0.0.15:mysql->10.0.0.107:47368 (ESTABLISHED)

mysqld      905 29083    mysql  188u     IPv4            1157085        0t0        TCP
10.0.0.15:mysql->10.0.0.6:34938 (ESTABLISHED)
