Nobody would really expect free support for free(ish) software, would they??

Anyway the list offers as much support as most people need.

Ok now you're just talking nonsense. If you don't like the list, don't use
it. If you have a problem using the software, ask a question. If you don't
like email from the list filling up your inbox, learn to filter messages
based on the information that's in them already. If your e-mail program
can't filter, for heaven's sake get a new e-mail application. Lord knows
there are enough e-mail clients out there that can filter intelligently,
even free ones.

Furthermore, I don't understand anyone complaining about MySQL AB asking for
a fee to provide support for a free product. The idea that anyone should
want them to give free support for a free product boggles my mind.

I suggest that everyone boycott Cody Harris because he is a waste of our
time.
