Subject:    Semantics of new/unread for MH mailboxes?

Recently my change-folders starts cycling back to folders that have no
new messages. 
Problem #1)
	buffy_check checks .mh_sequences before changes are flushed [at least with my MH
patches]
Problem #2) 
	Should messges in the unseen sequence be marked new or unread? The difference between
these two states for MH is unclear.

Any suggestions?
