Hi,

After installing the most recent versions of Mutt and gnupg, I've run
into a problem that I can't figure out a solution to, even after
spending hours looking around the web for a solution. If it makes any
difference, I'm running FreeBSD 4.0 as the O.S. Upon entering 'p' for
pgp, then 'e' to encode, and 'y' to send a message, I receive the
following prompt:

   Use keyID = "0x77C9DF5D" for rdd@rddavis.org? ([yes]/no):

Selecting 'yes' results in the following prompt:

   Enter keyID for rdd@rddavis.org:

Entering the keyID at this prompt just results in this prompt reappearing,
and all I can do is send a ctrl-c to quit mutt.

The version of gpg installed appears functional in all other ways, as
far as I can tell, and mutt appears to be working ok, except for a few
small problems, possibly due to my misconfiguring something or
other. For example I can connect via POP3 to my ISP and view my
e-mail, however, no files are actually downloaded to the local spool
directory. The other problem pertains to viewing e-mail with
attachments. When I look at them on another system running pine, I
can read the attachments, however, with mutt, just a few lines of
text, rather than a hundred or so, appear, and I can't view text in
the attachments.

Any help that you can kindly provide will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for the efforts that you've put into this software; it looks
like it has many very useful features, once I figure out what's going
wrong.

Regards,

R. D. Davis
