Hi,

Its a good bet that MathCAD2000 is being treated as a "bad application" and
severely retarded as a result. This is what I'd do:

Identify the name of the mathcad2000 executable and add a new key using the
same name (less the .exe) under the key: HKLM\software\microsoft\windows
nt\currentversion\terminal server\compatibility\applications. eg. if the app
is called mathcad.exe, add a new key called mathcad.

Highlight the msaccess key and save this key (toolbar > registry > save key)
as mathacad. Now highlight the matcad key and restore the same (saved) key
file over top of the existing mathcad key.

Now try running the application. If its a "bad" app, then it should now run
a lot faster. Check the Citrix knowledgebase with the keywords "application
tuning" to get more information on additional tuning.

Godd luck,

regards,

Rick

We use MF1.8 on HP LPR dual PII400 with 1Gb Ram on a number of machines.
On one of these machines we will run Mathcad2000. It runs but the
performance is 0, nothing. We see that memory utilisation is very low. Can
we increase the amount of RAM for this kind of applications? On NT PC's
Mathcad uses as much RAM as available
after MS took his SHARE.
TIA
