I had some tape that was used on a PDP 11/44 in 1984 to save a database from
a DEC DSM system and managed with the help of a specail collegue to recover the
old 9 track 800 BPI info  in 1994.  10 years it not bad and the storage
conditions
were not the best.   Hope this helps.
