My guess is no; DDP is the internal distributed data base protocol used
originally by Digital Mumps and then also supported by Micronetic's Mumps
and some others. While I have not checked I would be surprised (faint?) to
find Cloverleaf or anyone else added some kind of native support for DDP. I
would be neat to just poke a global and have Cloverleaf take it from there!
We used to have and AtoD converter that worked that way - you initiated a
sample and the data appeared as the next record in a global but I have not
seen that done in the last 20+ years.

What you probably need is some communication with Cloverleaf for an
interface and all the M implementations support TCP/IP and serial ports;
this is the way to go. We interface HL7 to Cloverleaf via both serial ports
and TCP/IP network connections quite successfully.
