Hi,
 
What's the proper syntax for statically linking the libmysqlclient.a
library?
 
ie. perl Makefile.PL --cflags=-I/home/mysql/include
--libs='/home/mysql/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.a'
 
I've tried a number of variants but Makefile.PL seems to only accept the
dynamic syntax.
 
ie. --libs='-L/home/mysql/lib/mysql -lmysqlclient'
