Hi Jochen,
    Thanks for the pointer.  I am too lazy for
installing mysql again, so just moved files around a
little, created few symbolic links and ended up
installing the DBD-mysql modules.  :))

Actually my header files were not in the correct
location as the Makefile was hopping, that's why it
was failing.

so, I copied all the header files to /usr/include and
all the lib to /usr/lib and that did the trick.

Thanks again ...

Now off to installation number 48848484 :)))
