Hello,

I am looking into the possibility of using mSQL as a backend database server
for a WWW service but I'm not sure how fast mSQL will be for the ammount
of data I have.

The database is structurally very simple, it consists of two tables connected
by one key, with some 10 columns per table.

The size of the database is of about 600 Mb.

The users access the database only to read data. The queries are of the
form: display all records which have column "x" equal to a given value.

Updating is done only by the DBA.

Estimated number of hits for a query: 1-10.

Estimated number of simultaneous users for the WWW service: unknown.

I'm looking for performance results (e.g. average response time for a query)
from people who have similar databases running.

Thank you in advance,

Ileana Tomuta
