The hardware isn't that onerous. Specific graphics card for capture, a
dinky infrared remote control, maybe a certain type of DVD player. Or is
there more I don't know about?
I don't believe it's impossible to build .... unless, in an attempt to
stop this, it's BIOS locked (which wouldn't surprise me!)
(and as for your weekend, you need to get out more <g> I'm stuck in a
wedding show Sunday. Sympathy please!)

Well to be fair, the beta only works with certain hardware that
you can't build your self. Being in the beta meant they would send you
a PC.
I'd like to get the install to see if I can build a PC to make
it work they keep telling me I can't but I don't believe them. But that
is because I'm insane. Most people don't do the stupid things I do, Or
not sucessfully... :-)
