Does anybody know if it is possible to 'pre-buffer' .asf files such that
when the user hits the play button, they begin almost immediately
without additional buffering?  If not pre-buffering, is there any way to
minimize buffer time?  I've noticed that even if I set the player buffer
to one second, it still takes from 5 to 10 seconds for all clips begin
playback.

The problem I'm facing is that a good portion of the media clips we're
using in our application are only about 15 - 25 seconds long and if they
take 5 - 10 seconds to buffer, that's a long wait for such a short clip.

FYI, we're using only WINNT for hosting the Netshow Server.
