Enrique Garc=EDa Alonso,

Smart Card Manager is a service, so it takes a time to start it. =
Usually
it takes 5 - 15 sec since WlxDisplaySASNotice.
We have been using Windows NT (SP3,4,5) smart card logon for a year and
it works fine.

Slavik.

Hi All,

I wonder if there is anyone who has found the same problem we've got.
we're
working with Windows NT 4.0 SP4 and, at logon time, we try to access to
WinScard services. At that time, when we ask for a list of system
readers
we obtain a null string. We were able to establish the smart card
context
and to obtain the readers list, at boot time, before we reinstalled the
system.

With the same code, after login, we ask for that list and I obtain a
string
containing all the readers we've got installed. we think this is =
related
to
the problem that Greg Boyko and Dug Barlow commented on May, 4th, this
is,
our process starts earlier than the environment variables are set. We
haven't found any solution to this problem.

Thank you for any information form you that could help us!!!
