        Hi:

I'm developing a static VXD driver for a serial smart
card reader.

My driver register calling the SmartacrdcreateLink function from
smclib. This creates a registry value :

        HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\VXD\SMCLIB\DEVICES

                SCReader0 "MyDriver.vxd"

The problem is that the resource manager don't access my driver
at all, neither when it starts automatically at boot or i start it
manually.

I understand that the RM, if it detects my driver, should create
a registry value at:

        HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Cryptography\Calais\Readers

, but it doesn't.

My driver's DeviceIOControl procedure writes a message to the
debugger every time it's accessed, so i'm sure the RM doesn't access my
driver at all, even with DIOC_OPEN.

What I am doing wrong? Am I missing something in my driver so RM
cand access it?

I would greatly thank any suggestion.

Sergio Escobedo Molina
