Klaus,

I'm implementing a Win NT 4.0 driver for smart card reader. I want to handle
a situation where the smartcard is removed during I/O request from the
Resource Manager. It is assumed that I receive proper notification from the
reader
immediately.

Should I first complete the I/O request with an error status and then update
the card status within Smart Card Extension structure or do an opposite?

Which NTSTATUS Resource Manager/Smclib expect to receive in this case?
