Axel,

you can safely ignore the event-log message. It won't be in the final
release of Win2K.

As for your other problem: Do you set the unit number correctly?
(VendorAttr.UnitNo) The unit number is used to distinguish readers
if you have two or more readers of the same type.

Subject: Win2k problems

Hi,

my Win2k driver seem to work, but I always get this
error message in the system log (english translation):

  Smartcard reader "" doesn't accept IoCtl 0x310008.
  Device doesn't recognize the command

What does it mean, I cant find anything in my log files
about this IoCtl.

Furthermore if I have two readers connected to one
PC (Win2k) I get an error that both readers have the
same name. Do I have to provide any suffix for the name
in my driver or does the RM do this?

With best regards
