Axel,

ifdtest 'just' tests the compliance of your device for the smart card part.
Your device also needs to conform to the requirements of the operating
system (PnP installation, hot plugging, power management).

The test suite that you can download from the Microsoft (WHQL) page
should include instructions for the OS dependent tests.

If you have further questions regarding the logo program, please direct
those to scard@microsoft.com

Hi Klaus,

my question is:

How can I ensure I have done everything right to get the logo.
We have a serial smart card reader, so so I just have to pass
IFDTEST (wehn is the new version available?) and everything is fine?

What about test tool for

- serial devices in general
- PnP devices
- anything else?

What about hot-plugging for serial devices in Win2000 like USB devices?
