Klaus,
I think I found the problem for ifdtest not starting:
using a device name with the extension "xyz.vxd" like in the
sni sample leads to the error. using just "xyz" allows starting ifdtest
without the -r option successfully.

But now another problem occurs:
ifdtest part b1 fails causing a page fault (debug print below):
(Again, SmartcardCreateLink returned successful during driver initialisation,
leaving obviously correct registry entries...)
Any suggestions?
