Alex,

When "preempting" the LSA for a different prefix,
you need to perform all normal actions done when
an LSA is reoriginated, i.e., bump the SeqNum,
reset the Age, fill the new contents, and flood.

In your scenario, when you decide to preempt
the LSA, the new SeqNum and reset Age will result
in correct announcement of the new prefix which
will implicitly withdraw the one being flushed.
Then your code would probably try to reassign this
old prefix to a new LSA. At that moment, the LSA
origination code should be smart enough to understand
that the new announcement is not necessary since
the prefix is being deleted from the domain and
no LSA should be originated. l
