GENAMICS LIBRARY 3.0 FOR VISUAL J++

Genamics Library is a set of WFC controls and classes. Genamics Library has
been chosen by numerous Fortune 500 companies and other multi-billion dollar
organizations, including CommerceOne, Compaq Computers, Hewlett Packard,
Baan, Healtheon, Peter Kiewit Sons', and Siemens. For more details, or to
download the trial edition of Genamics Library, visit our website at

Feature Summary

Genamics Grid. A well designed grid control written in WFC for WFC. Genamics
Grid provides the professional GUI and framework classes you need to quickly
develop high quality applications. The primary goals when designing Genamics
Grid were performance, flexibility, an elegant API, and a GUI which
end-users would find natural to use.

Genamics Table. A collection package which can greatly simplify the common
task of sorting and searching items. Genamics Table can be used stand-alone,
or as the datasource for Genamics Grid.

SyntaxEdit. Subclasses RichEdit to provide the basis for syntax highlighting
and mask editing. The most important feature of this control is the
BeforeTextChange event, which allows you to track, modify or prevent any
text change made to the control.

NumericEdit. An edit control which screens against non-numeric input. This
control is also an example of how to use the SyntaxEdit control to screen
text input.

CommonActions Package. This standardises and simplifies "Edit Menu
Functionality" found in many applications. Genamics controls such as
Genamics Grid implement the common actions framework.

RangePicker. Provides an easy way to choose two values specifying a range.
This control consists of two NumericEdit controls.

Backdrop. Tile or stretch backdrops over forms, MDI forms, and panels. You
can also use the backdrop's paint event to custom paint the backdrop.

LabelEx J++. A label which can be transparent. This control works well in
tandem with the Backdrop control. It also demonstrates how to go about
building transparent controls in WFC.

Licensed editions of Genamics Library come complete with fully-documented
source code.

We are pleased with the introduction of C#/.NET, which confirmed that
Microsoft is still in the business of providing developers with bleeding
edge development tools. Given the ample similarities between J++ and C#, we
are looking forward to releasing a C# version of Genamics Library. All our
customers using Genamics Library Professional will receive the C# version
free of charge.
Visit out our website today, and see what Genamics Library can do for you.

Ben Albahari,
