hi- jactivex sees only the information placed in a type library, and in this
case the "call as" definition of a method is being placed in the type
library. i believe MIDL always places the first definition of a given
method in the generated type library- if you're able to, define the local
variant of the method first. i know of no other workaround.

cheers.

Subject: JActiveX fails in the case of IDL aliasing

Hi,

JActiveX is not generating the correct wrappers functions are aliased with a
"call as" attibute in the IDL file. It is generating the wrappers for the
remoting functions not the functions themselves. Is there a work-around ?

Thanks
