Subject: Specifying context when using smart pointers

I am using smart pointers to instantiate my server components, instead of
using CoCreateInstanceEx, that I am familiar with.

How I can specify the context in which the code that manages the newly
created object will run. When using CoCreateInstanceEx, the 3rd par.
specifies the context. To instantiate components on a remote server, I
normally specify CLSCTX_REMOTE_SERVER.

How do I achieve this when using smart pointers ? I use
CreateInstance(__uuidof(COMComponent)) currently. Although I have specified
a remote server using the Ole COM/Object Viewer tool from MicroSoft, I am
afraid that the components are still instantiated locally.

Any suggestions,

Sanjeev.
