I'm new to using the kernel debugger and I'm having trouble
understanding what I need to do to use it to debug a CSP on an XP box.
I want to do local kernel debugging rather than debugging through a null
cable from another machine. I read somewhere that all I need to do is
install Debugging Tools for Windows, enable local kernel debugging on my
system and start the kernel debugger, and that will let me test an
unsigned CSP.

Well, I've installed Debugging Tools for Windows, I've added /debug to
my boot.ini file, I've started the kernel debugger in a command shell
window using the command 'kd -kl'. However, when I try to use my
unsigned, debug version of my CSP from within IE I get the error
'Invalid Signature'. I'm sure I must be doing something really
obviously wrong, but being new to the kernel debugger, I don't see what
it is. Can anyone give me some pointers.

Thanks,

Jim Miller
