Subject:    How to force client re-authentication in SSL session

When using client certificate authentication, is there a
method to:

1) logout the user, or
2) force re-authentication

from the server? The only way client credentials seem to be
flushed is if the last browser window is closed. I'd like to
be able to log user's out of a Web application and force
an SSL client authentication to log back in.
