It should work. Are you installing the certificate in the user store, but
just want to install the root certificate into the machine store?

Make sure that when you call ICertRequest::GetCertificate you specify
CR_OUT_CHAIN so the root certicate is included in the PKCS7.

Subject: Problem with RootStoreFlags

Hi all!
I have a problem.
I want install a root certificate but without display the dialog box where
ask if the user wants install the root certificate.
To this, before of call the function CreatePKCS10 (that create a request
certificate) I set the flag RootStoreFlags in
CERT_SYSTEM_STORE_LOCAL_MACHINE to that in the moment of install the root
certificate don't display the dialog box. But equal display it!
I see the registry and the root certificate is in the HKET_CURRENT_USER and
not in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE ,how I want!
Why?

Thanks in advanced!

Carmen Luz
