This is exactly the solution I needed.  I had looked at both
of these functions, but the online MS spec did not mention
these parameter values, and I was reluctant to invent my own.
Though they are in my wincrypt.h...

It seems like each of the above does the same thing.  I have
implemented the latter.  It's more work, but the other
machinery I had to put in place may come in handy later.
