Also, I believe that the private key needs to be AT_KEYEXCHANGE in order for
IE to recognize the certificate. This needs to be specified explicitly,
since xenroll defaults to AT_SIGNATURE.

You can check the archives, but generally if the cert is issued
with a key usage or extended key usage set for signature or
some purpose other than 'client authentication' and/or
'key exchange' then MSIE won't see it because it isn't
supposed to use it for a browser cert (SSL).

Subject: Installing certificates in MSIE
I am having a problem that seems to be caused by MSIE.
I use xenroll to generate the certificate request and to install the
certificate in MSIE.
It seems that all works fine (no problems with xenroll methods), but I
can't see the certificate
in my MSIE, althought I see them in Outlook Express.
I used other machine and I didn't get the error, so I thought the
problem was with my MSIE in particular. But other people are having this
problem _ they can't see the certificate in MSIE, although it seems to
be correctly installed.
Does anyone know what is going on?
