Subject:    Trouble importing 1024 bit key

I have had no trouble exporting a certificate from IE4 on one machine and importing \
into IE4 on another.  However, when I try the same procedure with a Class 2 Verisign \
certificate, the import fails, stating simply that it was unable to do the import.

Details:  
Source machine NT4SP3 running IE4 build 4.71
Targets Win95, Win98 and the source machine itself
Certificate has medium security level set; however, a 512bit medium security cert. \
has no troubles importing. During the export, the extension .PFX is added.
During the export, I get 16 warnings about the export of the private key material.

Does anyone know if there is a bug in IE4 that might prevent it from importing or \
exporting a 1024 bit cert.?
