Mario,

When you installed your Certificate Server, it created a "root" certificate
for itself. You need to install that "root" on your client machine.

Subject: Simple Question

Hello !

I'd like to sign a cab-File. Do I have to purchase a Certificat from
VeriSign o.a. or is it enough to install the Microsoft Certification
Server, create a root CA cert, import it in my browser, get an SPC from
the CertServer and sign my cab-File with it ?

When i load the cab-File in my browser, is it than trustworthy ?

I do this, but the IE 4.0 said, "..the root ca is not trusted for
signing software.."

What make i wrong ?

Thanx for any hints !

best wishes,
Mario
