Pardon me if this is a newbie question... (I am, after all, something of a newbie)

I noticed in atlctl.cpp that controls will not bother with the UIActivate code if an
m_spAmbientDispatch is present.  (This test is buried in DoesVerbUIActivate)

Why is this?  I'm trying to track down a problem with my controls in Outlook and
I am wondering if not doing UIActivate is part of the problem
