Hi,
-vo jpeg seems to generate a series of black pictures before the actual
content in recent CVS (rc4 used to work).

Doing
mplayer -vo jpeg -ao null -frames 1 foo.mpg
always returns a 00000001.jpg containing just a black picture these days.
It's not a problem with the input file, since
mplayer -vo png -ao null -frames 1 foo.mpg
produces the expected results.

Any ideas?
