this is not a request, you did not even read my original post did you.

this is a post on how to fix it back to the way it was in 1.1 (
pre-broken )!

I fixed it back at the request of a friend and saw how many people
were requesting this on the lists so I figured I do them a favor and
post how to patch it up to work in a sensible way again.
