:-( It looks like Mozilla involves more of the marketing than I expected:
=== http://www.mozilla.org/why/framework-details.html ===
Standards Support: Gecko is the first browser technology to fully
implement the latest W3C standards and enables developers to build rich,
dynamic web pages and web-based applications that look and run as
intended across a variety of platforms and devices. This saves
developers time and money while allowing them to deliver
state-of-the-art content and web applications. Gecko features full
support for open Internet standards such as CSS1, HTML 4.0, DOM1, RDF,
XML and JavaScript.
===
I'm afraid of experiencing more "full standards support" from Mozilla.
I'm OK if they say - RDF (w3c draft from 1998) but when I chosen for my
project to use Mozilla's RDF support based on their "information" about
"full standards support" I don't like to be surprised... :-(
On the other hand after I chosen the Mozilla's RDF as the underlying
technology there are resources about any problems I can experience -
which is very good and the Mozilla community is very helpful too:

Mozilla RDF Notes
Mozilla's RDF parser was written before the RDF specification was
finalized. Thus, there are two differences. The first is that the parser
is slightly more lax than it might be, so the resource and about
attributes don't need to be in the RDF namespace to work. The second is
that for Seq, Bag and Alt types, the predicate 'rdf:instanceOf' from an
earlier draft of RDF is used instead of 'rdf:type'. This only applies to
the list types, not to other types.
Neither of these issues should cause you any problems, however, you
might want to be aware of them.
=== end ===
Regrettably I'm not able to contribute any fix to this matter because
fixing the Mozilla's RDF parser is going behind my current skills. :-(
So I hope somebody will fix it soon because I strongly believe in W3C
Semantic Web as the future widely involving RDF and for sure Web needs
browsers like Mozilla!
Keep doing good job, Mozilla (and less of the marketing, please)!
