Well, now it works.

Again a mistake in my porting environment : PROGRAMS wasn't set to an 
empty string.

And again something included in the documentation and scripts provided 
by Peter. But I wanted to find out how mozilla can be build on top of a 
"file system hierarchy"-compliant porting system ( e.g., like 
http://www.unixos2.com/pages/Documentation/UnixOS2FHS/index.html ) - so 
I couldn't use the procedure directly.
