The adult industry people have come out with a kind of on-line Gimp program
using Java.  It loads as an Applet, does about 20 or so effects, reads jpgs and
gifs and saves in jpg, gif, tif, png, ppm and bmp.  All of this in an Applet
with explanations about how to set IE security.  It also can also print.

This is really interesting.  Take a look at it at http://www.arfnet.com or
http://209.111.236.64/splash1.html.  Make sure that that you are not around any
ladies or your boss because the pictures are kind of intense.  Just ignore the
porn stuff and check out what the people at this Arfnet.com site have managed
to create.  It is a little slow and kind of buggy but with some work they could
have something great.
