I seem to have a download problem with early versions of Navigator . It
appears that the browser does not wait for any external script files to
arrive before executing the onload event code.. The problem becomes apparent
when Navigator's caches are cleared.

The initial attempt by the main script to call functions or access variables
results in Undefined error messages.Presumably because the script has not
arrived. If the page is reloaded the scrript executes correctly because it
is already in local cache.

1. What is the correct method to wait for a script file to arrive?
2. Do all versions of Navigator have this problem or is it just a problem
with early versions?
