(Sorry, I'm new to these news groups and can't work out which one to
ask...)

Is there a document somewhre giving the names and locations of
directories involved with Netscape communicator. In particular, I want
to specify directories for News. I note that the FAT file puts
particular servers and groups in partuclar .rc files and .dir
directories, using what appear to be randomly generated names. I would
like to allocate my own names (because I'm trying to do this for a
network, and would like to keep track of it all).
