OK.  In that case, you were pulling the tip (main trunk):
    8.cvs co -A mozilla/security 

Did you modify mozilla/security/nss/lib/util/manifest.mn?
(http://lxr.mozilla.org/mozilla/source/security/nss/lib/util/manifest.mn)
In that file, unix_rand.c is commented out.  I'm just wondering
why you were compiling that file.
