Then I updated to the latest SVN version after that. I also use --libdir=/usr/local/lib64, as I do for all my 64-bit libs, but Mono's platform independent libs (managed DLLs) still install in /usr/local/lib. If I recall, I have installed the 32-bit and 64-bit versions in parallel, but I am not positive about this.
