You must put user files on a single partition, and ensure your kickstart file for recovery use the same partition layout with your original system, you also need to specify --noformat for /home partiton in order that recovery image won't format it.

Is there a way to reinstall Moblin in a sort of recovery mode which only
installs to OS and doesn't touch user files in sub directories?
