I have a patch to enable this.  It can be downloaded from
http://members.dsl-only.net/~tdavis/alsa-patches/SamsungQ1Vista.patch .

The patch is against the alsa tree, but I have been able to get it
working with the 1.0.14 driver in the kernel-mid repository with some
minor modifications (before my kernel-mid directory imploded).  It has
been submitted to alsa for inclusion in 1.0.16 (wish I had time earlier,
it would've been in alsa-driver-1.0.15 and 2.6.24 kernel releases).
