Initial Comment:
i compiled mjpegtool-1.8.0 with --enable-large-file 
using mplex, after 2GByte it produces the error

**ERROR: [mplex] Need to split output but there appears
to be no %d in the filename pattern geisterhaus-final.mpg
---END---

I have asked for more information. What he command he did use. And what
he wants to do. 
Is ther still the 2GB Limit when multiplexing files under certain
circumstances ?
