* C impl: RCSID is ok for kernel (gets stripped, but what the hey),
  but not standalone (we can't be sure to use the macro, in contrast
  to the asm impl)
* asm impl: do rnd_addpool_add() for kernel, arc4random_push() for
  (not kernel) and (not standalone)
* some more comment overhaul

XXX this code isn't used yet, but better should
