I have a some programs that save their settings in $HOME when HOMEis defined (when I \
am in MSYS), and %USERPROFILE% when it is not.I would have to keep the files in sync \
manually if I wanted the programsto have the same behaviour in MSYS or not. The \
technique abovefixed that, although I actually set HOME = %USERPROFILE%. It has \
notcaused any problems that I can see. I don't have spaces in my username either, but \
I was hoping it would help. Regards,John Brown.
