Subject: Notice of upcoming SourceForge.net site testing and launch
       To: sf@progw.com

To SourceForge.net Project Administrators:

We have received feedback from you and your fellow project administrators
that we need an easier path for users to download your software. We take
your input seriously and to address this input, over the past few months we
have been developing a solution to meet that need. On Tuesday 2009-06-30
at 16:00 UTC, we will be testing the first phase of our new consumer (user)
pages.

During this testing, you may encounter some instability with the site.
Deploying these changes involves major architectural adjustments.
Instability is expected to last no more than a few minutes at a time.

Once our testing has completed (and any immediate issues have been
resolved), we will be reverting to the prior version of the site. Once the
site is "back to normal" on the old code, we'll be doing our final planning
for the launch of the new consumer experience.	We tentatively plan this
launch to occur on Wednesday 2009-07-01.

Updates regarding service status and our plans can be seen on our
@sfnet_ops twitter feed or via the Site Status page at:
http://sourceforge.net/sitestatus/

Feedback, questions or concerns may be directed to our support team as
detailed at: http://sourceforge.net/support

Best regards,

Daniel Hinojosa - Sr. Manager, Support - SourceForge.net
