Don't you think that this should be fixed in MinGW release (in future)?
I believe that such behaviour is inconsistent and lead to such a
stupid questions like my original.
I would understood if MinGW (or GCC) do not provide any implementation
(i.e. fail on compilation stage, for example) but providing it for -O2
only confuses me a lot.
