Sorry if my post sounded otherwise. But I meant what you wrote. They are
different in terms of implementation.
Another point is that it would be unfair to compare with Autotools with
them. They contain a tiny fraction of Autotools' features.
I mentioned one drawback of Bakefile in couple of posts earlier. I hope
they would fix it in upcoming releases.
The goal of these projects are different. They want to provide a simpler
interface to generate makefiles for multiple compilers. It helps for
average users like me who want to quickly generate makefiles for
multiple compilers. :)
